We had a huge black rain storm - we should have all stayed at home but the government were scared to call the warning because of the public examinations - GCSEs and A levels. We all ended up on the 7th floor and above, as a gully under the road outside school couldn't take the volume of water and overflowed across the road, through the school and out on to the street on the other side - 6 floors lower.
I on the other hand wandered the school with my camera trying to find some good photos - I only had a little digital one but it was OK. Everyone though I was heroic, looking for survivors - really I was just playing in the rain....great fun!
