The 'Eejits' climb Sharp Peak

We had Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Sai Kung with AYP and the group that we walked with decided to climb Sharp Peak. We had a great day and ended up on the beach, swimming and playing in the surf at the end. What a great thing to be paid to do.

Have a look for Sonya's brilliant attempt at killing me with a kite and also her rather stylish little jump

Another trip to Tai Long Wan

We've just spent 4 days at Tai Long Wan - the place is really the best place in HK. Craig, Sonya & Isabella, Pam, Bryce and Lexi went down on Friday and we joined them on Saturday. It's a big beach with big waves and we had great weather. I took along a waterproof camera case to see what it would be like taking photos in the waves and some of them have come out good.

You can click on the photos in the slideshow to see more info about them.

On the Monday when Pam, Lexi, Bryce and Craig left we had some great fun floating out their bags to a speedboat in a little rubber dingy - trying to get through the surf. We managed to get everything out without any mishaps but there was some serious adrenalin on the way. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera.

We took loads of kids to Tai Long Wan in Sai Kung and climbed Sharp Peak as well as finding some fantastic paths over some really wild terrain.

Only 1% of HK people have ever been here! Shameful!

At least it's wild and empty. There was even a ship wreck on the beach. Loads of wood for fires!!
